Balanced in Scripture: Celebrating 10 Years of Mujer Balanceada
This new season at Mujer Balanceada begins by strengthening and affirming our mission of reminding ourselves to live balanced in Scripture. In these recent months, I have been meditating on all the completed projects, studies, and articles we’ve published over the years.
I can only give thanks to the Lord, who has sustained us until today. I still remember clearly that moment when I thought, so ignorantly, that I had my entire life under control.
Not only that, but I remember very well when everything began to shake, and even collapse, and the only thing that helped me during that time was learning to remain balanced in Scripture. At Mujer Balanceada we believe that it is indeed possible to live with intention and rest, but not through our strength, rather through the sufficiency of God’s Word.
Although our English content began in 2021, Mujer Balanceada has been serving women in Spanish for a full decade, helping them discover what it means to live anchored in Scripture through every season of life.
We Will Continue Seeking to Be Balanced in Scripture
During these 10 years I have heard countless conversations about how wrong it is to seek balance, arguing that balance can never be achieved. But in those conversations people usually talk about giving equal attention to each area of our lives, and while it’s true that this type of balance cannot be found, that’s not what we pursue at Mujer Balanceada.
Here, we recognize that according to our season of life, some priorities will change position, but throughout those transitions, what keeps us standing is ensuring that God’s Word remains at the center of our lives.
This is what allows us to remain standing, regardless of what may happen around us. Being balanced in Scripture helps us face the future with confidence because we come to know our sovereign God more deeply.
Surely, like me, you have sometimes felt overwhelmed trying to balance everything in your life—family, work, service, spiritual life—and at the end of the day, you wonder: Are you really living for what you were created for?
We were created in His image and likeness, to make His glory known throughout the earth, in everything we do, in all the roles we fulfill, and in all the spheres where we operate. We accomplish this by remaining balanced in Scripture. His word is sufficient.
Know the 5 Pillars of Mujer Balanceada
To reaffirm our mission and purpose, we have defined five pillars that guide and summarize everything we teach, share, and practice at Mujer Balanceada. Although this formal presentation is new, these 5 pillars have always been working behind the scenes, starting with finding balance in scriptures.
Our intention is for you to become familiar with them, since you will see them more clearly in our content and upcoming projects.

The Pillars of Mujer Balanceada
1. God’s Word
Everything begins here. We believe that Scripture is sufficient, living, and powerful. We need no other compass than His Word. Scripture is what teaches us, corrects us, encourages us, and prepares us for every good work (2 Timothy 3:16-17). Therefore, all Mujer Balanceada content springs from the desire to know the Lord more deeply and apply His truth to every corner of our lives.
When we are rooted in the Word, we find direction in our troubles, comfort in pain, and hope in the midst of weariness.

2. Intentional Planning
This isn’t about controlling everything, but about surrendering our time to the Lord. We learn to plan not as a burden, but as a way to live with wisdom (Ephesians 5:15-17). Each day is an opportunity to glorify God, and that includes our schedules, routines, and priorities. Our resources will help you find structures that serve your mission of living for the glory of God.
Even the simplest tasks can become acts of worship when we surrender them to Christ.
3. Purpose
Your calling doesn’t have to look like anyone else’s. God has given you specific gifts, passions, and opportunities to serve Him where He has planted you. From washing dishes to leading a meeting, we should do everything as if for the Lord (Colossians 3:23-24). We want to help you see and celebrate the value of your daily calling that has eternal significance.
It’s not about doing much, but about being faithful with what He has placed in your hands.
4. Participation
We were not created to walk alone. In Hebrews 10:24-25, we find the call to encourage one another. Community is not optional, it’s part of God’s design for our growth. Although we don’t seek to replace your local church, we want to provide you with resources and encouragement to keep growing in your faith and that you can use these to share with others what you are learning.
We walk better—and with more joy—when we do it together.
5. Progress
The Christian life is not a sprint. It’s a transformation process where we celebrate small steps, simple obedience, and the fruit of the Spirit that He produces in us (Galatians 5:22-23). Instead of endless to-do lists, we invite you to evaluate with gratitude, to pause with intention, and to see His hand at work in the midst of everyday life.
Spiritual progress is not measured by perfection, but by faithfulness.
Looking Forward: A Decade of Growth and Transformation
These 10 years have taught us that living balanced in Scripture isn’t about having everything perfectly organized or never struggling with life’s challenges. Instead, it’s about having an anchor—God’s Word—that keeps us steady when storms come and gives us direction when the path seems unclear.
We’ve witnessed countless women discover that:
- Quiet time with God doesn’t require perfection, just consistency
- Biblical planning brings peace, not pressure
- Every role and responsibility can become an act of worship
- Community amplifies our growth and joy
- Small, faithful steps create lasting transformation
As we move forward, our commitment remains the same: to help women discover what it means to live every area of life—from motherhood to ministry, from daily routines to life-changing decisions—anchored in the truth and sufficiency of God’s Word.
The Heart Behind Our Ministry
Whether you need structure, encouragement, practical tools, or simply companions in faith, we desire that you find a safe place to flourish in your relationship with Christ. The goal isn’t to add more to your already full plate, but to help you see how God’s Word speaks into every aspect of your daily life.
We believe that when women are grounded in Scripture, they become:
- More confident in their God-given calling
- More peaceful in their daily routines
- More purposeful in their relationships
- More prepared for life’s unexpected seasons
- More joyful in their service to others

Gratitude and Looking Ahead
As we reflect on these 10 years, my heart overflow with gratitude, not just for the growth of this ministry, but for the women who have joined us in this journey of discovering what it means to live balanced in Scripture. Every story shared, every life changed, every moment of growth has been a testament to the power and sufficiency of God’s Word.
Here’s to another decade of helping women find their balance not in perfect circumstances, but in the perfect faithfulness of our unchanging God.
